Uptracks

We're getting a lot of reports of people setting tracks straight up STS and North Bowl (Cheops N 4-5). These popular lines are typically entered from the top. Make sure you have enough beta to make informed decisions out there and don't blindly trust skin-tracks. Knowing who is above/below you is essential, especially in exposed avalanche terrain. Lower avalanche hazard ratings aren't an excuse for lowered awareness. Play safe and have a good weekend!
