Damp & Foggy Kootenay Pass

Another low-vis day spent in the trees. Skied a coupe laps off Lighting Strike Ridge and visited the cabin for lunch. Ski quality has certainly deteriorated since earlier this week as surface snow becomes damp and heavy. Fun to go for a walk and slide some turn but don't expect stellar snow quality.

Very foggy and damp all day. A noticeable layer of mist in the air settled on surfaces and made the snow heavy up to ridgetop.

CTH 26/27 (RP) down 30cm on Wind Pressed Snow. Storm snow feels like it's quite settled in this area.
