Alpine stability

HS 80-120cm at ridge top. Found surprisingly well bonded storm snow on a dense, well settled basal snowpack. Skiing quality was much better than expected. No instabilities felt or observed. Winds picked up significantly at ~2:00pm from the N. significant wind deposits on Southerly aspects.
