Near Miss (size 1 skier accidental)

Great day of deep snow. We did see signs of instability and isolated movement of the storm slab on covex rolls throughout the day. We chose to ski a slope that was a little less supported at the end of the day and kicked off a size 1 that could have had worse consequences but the skier was just able to self arrest. The propagation on this slope surprised us. Crown was 30 feet wide. Depth was just the storm slab 30-40cm. Aspect north.
