Commonwealth Traverse

Not a ton to add about commonwealth loop. Skied ok, some nice soft spots. Better skiing than purple knob last week. One party on the main slope below commonwealth PT col, looked ok but didn’t motivate us to climb. The up track is potentially the most rugged I’ve ever seen it. We eventually gave up and just strapped the skis to the back. Super supportive to do that and made for easy access to the lake. Would recommend not fighting it and just take your skis for a walk, it’s over pretty quick. Exit gully was good, though blue ice showing at the waterfall that has been pretty well shredded. Manageable but be aware of it
