Kootenay Pass

The day started off sunny, temps around -11C, light winds, then clouded up and was overcast the rest of the day. We saw no signs of any recent or old avalanche activity. In the area we were skiing the snow has bonded to the crust and there was very little stuffing in the steep areas we skied. The crust under the fresh snow was very supportive and we could walk on it.
