Skied open treed below Mount Frosty. Had an Alpine line spotted but lost the vis mid afternoon. Alpine slopes were quite cross loaded with lots of thick to thin. One persistent slab natural size 2 avalanche ran in the last 48 hours. In the Alpine the winds were blowing in the strong to moderate range. Building lots of wind slabs. HS at 1800m was 128cm. A few chunks of cornice broke off Frosty triggering some size 1 wind slabs. Skied out Frosty creek but last 400m of vertical was desperate log hopping creek bashing.
