20 cm settled pow over well settled midpack at Bostock. The river crossing next to the train bridge was quite sporty, bring your boot crampons! Moderate to strong south wind at Flat Creek pass. Few moist loose avalanches on steep solars, mostly SZ 1-1.5 but one SZ 2 was also observed. Sun crust on steep solars. Some wind affect noticed in the immediate lee of steep rolls from 2300 m. Few medium cornice failures from the past few days did not trigger any slab. More widespread wind affect just below the summit, i.e. above 2700m. The clouds rolled in just as we submitted. The ski down the Patience East Bowl was generally good with snow quality improving from treeline and below. A great day all in all.
