Quick report
There is snow to the valley bottom in the upper Cle but below 3,200’, coverage is variable and a thin melt-freeze crust has formed on most of the surface. Above 3,200’, snow coverage is more consistent with HS of 30 cm except under some areas of thick canopy that limited accumulation. I was able to switch to skinning for uphill travel but the abundant shallow snowpack hazards kept me from skiing downhill at the same elevation. By 3,800’ the snow surface is loose and dry.
