New snow coming in was heavily mixed with rain, especially at lower elevations. Coverage is quite bare at lower elevations still. Above 5000 feet conditions were noticeably different. New storm layer fell as very dense and wet powder. While skiing around, the new dense snow layer produced small isolated cracks, but did not propagate very far. Other than the small amounts of cracking, no other signs of instability. Lots of wind gusts today meant that we saw lots of active wind transport of snow. Conditions did not change too much with aspect.
