Mount Rainier National Park, Narada Falls, Mazama Ridge

We did a very mellow snowshoe and avoided avalanche terrain. Total snow was much less than usual for this time of year (maybe 2'). The snowpack along the Narada Falls trail was very hard. It was softer along the Mazama Ridge trail. The weather was nice, overcast and then sun. Worth the trip but glad I wasn't on my split board! Many icy spots and exposed tree roots.
