At 7470 feet on a protected North Slope above Cly Pond: Height of Snow 260 cm Late January Rain Crust found roughly 190 cm down Rightside up snowpack CTM(13) SC down 25 cm on preserved stellar CTM(17) BRK down 25cm on preserved stellar ECTN 17 down 25 cm Snowpack Profile attached in images. Skintrack cracking isolated to visible wind affected snow. Cracks were found near ridge top and were not shooting beyond underfoot.

Moderate winds from the Northeast throughout our tour. Temps above freezing at 7000 feet around 3pm.
Snowpack
Thin solar crust found on south facing slopes around 10:30 am. Surface hoar found widespread in areas without wind affect. Windslabs found at and near ridge top ranging from 6-16" thick. Solar gain had warmed and thickened the snow on west facing slopes around 3pm. Surface hoar had disappeared on East, South, and West facing slopes by 3PM. North Slopes were not observed in the afternoon.
Avalanche
Multiple Loose Wet slides in the west facing slide paths across from Slick Rock.
