Quick report
Warmer temps, rain below 6500', as well as thin coverage and exposed trees and rocks kept our travel very conservative. snowmobile travel off trail is still very thin and is needing a couple more feet to really be comfortable.
The only instability that we observed on the surface was minimal above 6500 feet D1 minus wet loose from the rocks on the north face of granite mountain and near cloough Point just above Brundage wet loose debris had almost hit the groomer path-the size was small, D1, Not big enough to injure anyone.Weather

Very wet rain below 6500 started snowing often on in the morning with a couple periods of blue sky and sunshine briefly as the storm approached. Winds gusted into the upper 20's and occasional loading was observed, but not much snow was available for transport temps cooled off in the afternoon and snow increased in intensity as well as winds. Wet, heavy snow, caked our goggles on the ride out around 1 PM.
Snowpack
We had a propagation result on a buried surface hoar layer that was 70 cm, or 2 1/2 feet down from the Surface: 28 taps from the shoulder initiated a fracture that propagated across the entire block and suddenly collapsed a centimeter.
