Quick report

We dug a pit on a N aspect at 9100' near treeline- HS at this location was 116 with the Dec 12 PWL about 80 CM subsurface. The snowpack was relatively right side up (aside from a small stormslab in the top 15 CM) trending from 4F to 1F to P with two small rain crusts mixed in that were K hard- until the december 12 facets they were 1F- and relatively dry. These facets (DEC 12 PWL) still showed reactivity in stability tests at this location with several CT H Q1 SC failing midway through the DEC 12 facets. An ECT yielded an ECTX on this layer- however we conducted a PST and produced a result of 37/100 END on the Dec 12 facets with a very noticeable collapse of the layer.
