Mt. Judah

I went to Mt. Judah to monitor the snow surface refreeze and wet snow development.  A decent snow surface refreeze occurred in this area overnight with the snow surface softening quickly this morning.  Winds were much lighter than yesterday which allowed soft snow to form all the way up to ridgetops.  Good spring corn snow existed late morning with supportable snow conditions.  Some very small wet surface instabilities were observed today in steeper terrain, this was limited to the top few inches of surface wet snow.  SE to S aspects offered the best spring snow this morning, with variable snow surface conditions on northerly aspects.
