Quick report
Started the day out at Castle Peak at 730 am. Good coverage in the parking lot at Boreal and was able to climb the berm to get on to trail. Pretty wet dense snow on top of the powder snow from a couple days ago. Roughly 70 cm of new snow was noted from last snow fall from 2 weeks ago. While we road for 5 hours there was 4 inches of snow noted on truck when we returned. We did get the snow to crack under the pressure of the snowmobile. 290cm at the top of Castle Peak area and old layer looks to be at 220 cm. At 220cm it was very hard and crusted snow.
