Quick report
Toured up to Grouse Rock early in the morning and skied the N and NE facing terrain. Stayed off terrain where yesterday’s avalanche occurred. Snow on the more northerly facing aspects was fantastic. Did not notice any instabilities in the areas I was in but traveled and skied conservatively.
Avalanche
Observed yesterday’s wind slab avalanche in this area that seemed to fail on the older crust. Either new snow or wind blown snow filled in this area somewhat overnight.
