Quick report
The 2" of new snow, in combination with the 8" or more of light density snow that fell earlier in the week, was being easily transported by moderate south winds onto leeward terrain features. The wind-deposited snow was building into shallow reactive wind slabs. The denser new snow was not bonding well to the lighter density old snow surface.

Snowpack
The 8" or more of light density snow at the surface was being easily transported by moderate southerly winds onto leeward terrain features above 7500'. I also observed the 2" of new snow was a bit denser than the underlying old snow surface; it fractured and slid easily as a shallow cohesive slab on any slope >35 degrees.
