Quick report
I didn't get as far as I wanted today due to Dicks Creek's raging rapids. Snow began right after the washout (~2.4k') and had freshly fallen, despite the fact that the tree cover was tight from logged monoculture forest. The boot pen was around 2"~3" where I turned around (~2.8k'). I didn't get an opportunity to see the source of the creek, but I was extremely curious what the headwaters were like, given how much runoff was flowing downhill. The North Fork of the Stillaguamish River was extremely high and the waters were cloudy/silty.
