Quick report
Little snowballs were seen on the slopes from thawing snow falling or wildlife disturbance on the ascent. Encountered the fallout on the descent. Trail completely buried by 3ft+ of wetter chunky looking snow. Felt pretty stable. No punch through or shifting. I moved quickly but cautiously. It stopped partway down slope so all that weight is still stored up there.

Coming back down from Marmot Pass, the avalanche chutes on the exposed sections of slope around 5200ft had 3-4 fresh avalanches ranging around a 2, that originating at an unknown distance upslope as I was locked in by a cloud bank. Snow felt semi wet and solid with no punch through or shifting when traversing back across them.
