In general we saw minimal signs of storm slab instability. We heard two collapses between 4000-4500’ ok north aspect in the trees. Minimal signs of reactive storm slab. Some superficial cracking I isolated pockets on slick surfaces near trees. Afternoon wind picked up , bowing snow and more wind effect in exposed areas.

Snowpack
@4500’ N aspect. HS 350cm. 60 cm right side up storm snow overlying 1/10 crust . 1cm Mid storm crust about 30cm down ( shallower crust seemed to go away around 4200’). Mixed results on compression with a sudden result down 20cm mid storm interface . Propagation (x2) on ect down 38 cm below mid storm crust.
