Quick report

It turned out to be a nicer day than it could have, with high clouds at times but often sun. There was a steady breeze but temps were mild and it was pleasant. I observed widespread wind effect overnight that had stripped and loaded many slopes that yesterday were untouched. Still, it was possible to find some good preserved powder where wind and sun hadn't done their thing. I skied down into the banzai trees to a nice sheltered clearing. There wasn't any preserved surface hoar there or anywhere that I traveled. (We saw some on Monday.) I agree that windslab was the main concern but for me these were easily avoidable and the ones I encountered were small. No significant wet loose concerns today, just the odd roller ball. A great day.
