Only isolated wind slabs on predictable features, and some cornices. We did not ski south facing slopes, which would be a significant concern. Compression tests gave hard, resistant-planar results down 27cm, just below an ice crust layer. No avalanches observed. Ski quality good above 1800m where there is no wind effect.
Warm in the sun, when it came out. Snow surface temperature -3C. Dry snow on north aspects from 2200m down to 1800. Decent skiing!
Cracking (see picture) only on isolated features, where you'd expect due to wind effect. CTM (22) x2 Resistant planar, down 27cm on preserved stellars (3mm). No results on ski cuts, and we skied supported slopes to 40 degrees.
