Repeater Slopes, Wawa Ridge

Size 1.5 avalanche on the SE side of Wawa Ridge from approximately 2400 to 2370m. Deep slab separated down to the ground. After the slide we turned around and skied down backdoor. Snow was soft in the trees but fairly windblown on all aspects at treeline and above.

Triggered a small windslab on the SE corner of the Repeater Slopes which also partially released a cornice above. We were skinning across a mellow slope at the time. Only one skier was affected who was able to skin away from the slide.
