Coverage was thin but rideable. South face was heating up (wet and heavy) so we went off the north, which held a couple inches of loose snow on a hard base. Didn't punch through any crust. Surface hoar and pinwheeeling was prevalent at lower elevations along the logging road but not witnessed higher up. Conditions were better than expected.
