Observed shooting cracks in top 5-10cm wind slab. Propagation 2-3m from board on either side easy. Cohesive top slab very reactive. Concerned about stepping down to persistent weak layer. Stayed away from steeper slopes and found more mellow simple terrain with decent snow. Sunny and -4.
