Quick report

Collapsing
isolated

Dug a pit top of KB ridge N/NE - 9,020’ - HS 160 Very significant PWL of large buried surface hoar down 65cm. Also a storm layer down 35. Ectp 11 & 12 on the storm layer. Oddly could not get the PWL to propagate but this could be because of old tracks making the layer irregular. Surface hoar was about 2cm standing upright under the new snow. When skiing the ridge we saw part of a large slide that happened in the chutes skiers left of wolf trap. Couldn’t get a view to get a good pic.
