Quick report
Skiied punta bardini chute on 2/22. We dug a snow pit at the top and found no failures on an extended column test, we decided to do a ski cut and attempt to descend. My first snow cut yeilded no results and we made the decision to continue with the descent. about halfway down the chute i ran into another untracked portion of the chute, and made the decision to ski cut once again. on this section, the cut yielded a small soft slab d1 result that ran for 15 or so meters. We continued the ski descent. I believe it was a small pocket of wind deposited snow, that happened to just be on the right angle.
Avalanche
A small soft slab d1, maybe 10 feet across with a crown only 4-5 inches deep, running approx 15 meters.
