Glorious weather. Blue skys and sun transitioned to increasing cloud cover and moderate wind.
Snowpack
Above 6000' surface conditions varied from stiff wind board, to thin frozen rain crust, to 15-20cm storm slab with grapple on the surface. On a south aspect at 6700' we round propogation potential on a facet/crust combo layer from the very end of January (ECTP15). Below 6000' we found a progressively thick layer of rain saturated snow over dry snow, with progressively deeper ski and boot penetration, indicating the potential for wet loose avalanches on steep slopes.

Many small, D1-1.5, wet loose and storm slab avalanches observed above 6000'. One long running wet loose D2 on west aspect.
