It's nice to be out skiing. There wasn't enough snow to strap on skis below 4000 feet in elevation. The rain/snow line from this past storm looked to hover between 3000-4000 feet. Hopefully we get more snow soon to insulate the snow we have on the ground. The long this snow sits and the colder the temps get, the greater chance this snow facets and turns into a weak base! Do you snow dance! Pockets of minor Instability exist in isolated pocket. Look out for wind deposited snow in steep areas such as Ridgeline, gullies and steep terrain features.

Snowpack
20-25 inches of high density snow. The snowpack is supportable making travel easy. Some locations have a thin crust and/or windslab on the surface. The skiing was marginal.
