Quick report

Took the break in the weather for a short recon walk up to Sundance Lookout. Consistent, albeit thin, snow started around 4000 ft. At ridge top the snow depth was variable and heavily wind blown from a northerly wind with intermittent pockets of supportable / unsupportable wind crusts. In more wind sheltered locations there was a fine layer of what appeared to be rounding facets. As expected, the snow was high-density and packing in nicely.
