- <p>Went to look at the extent of the cycle from the 5th/6th. Not clearly as extensive and sharp as what Carston Oliver<a href="https://utahavalanchecenter.org/avalanche/65271"> found</a> along the Cascade ridgeline on Wednesday, but still noteworthy. Size 2-3 natural avalanches into the old snow noted in Silver Creek, White Canyon, and upper Deer Creek (photo). Based on snow coverage (or lack of it), the north to east starting zones also naturalled along the Wishbone ridge. Many steep lines being tested, <em><strong>even on the uptrack.</strong></em></p>
Everything but powder, but we knew that. Supportable quasi-corn can be timed on the southerly aspects and elevations while recrystallized snow can be found in the protected northerlies. Wind board can be found nearly everywhere in the alpine.
HS rough estimate 130-150cm in the transitional mid-to-upper elevations.
