Observation: Cutler Ridge

Snowpack seemed generally stable, temperatures were moderate and wind very calm. Dug a small pit near the Snowtel ~7700'on a shaded northern aspect and did not find a weak layer in the top ~50cm. The snow was right side up. On the way back down we found surface hoar at mid to low elevations and faceting in shaded low elevation areas.
