Went to check on snow depths and storm totals. Avoided slopes greater than 30 degrees including terrain traps and run out zones. Over three feet of new snow that hasn't consolidated yet. Test slopes were touchy and failed easily. Challenging trail breaking and riding conditions. Still plenty of early season buried hazards.

Snow at sea-level in the morning with freezing levels rising by afternoon. Winds out of the east/southeast that increased. No visible wind transport of snow due to the dense surface conditions.
Snowpack
The snowpack was deep and unconsolidated.
- Storm slab surface instabilities were noticed on test slopes with easy failure.
- Total snow depths were 105cm at 900', 145cm at 1,200' and 200cm at 1,800'.
- At 1,800' N-aspect found two noticable <1cm melt-freeze crusts down 70cm and down 105cm.
- Extended column test results were easy with ECTP1 and ECTP2 down 45cm on an upside-down storm interface. It was softer than the layers above and below. This was most likely due to a cold period during the storm that transitioned to warmer snowfall on top.
