On standard approach, noted every type of surface available, from crusts to near-surface facets, to powder and soft wind slabs near ridgelines. Recent low-density snow was being transported by strong W/NW winds at upper elevations.  Small pockets of reactive wind slabs were actively forming on near-surface facets. These were stubborn and around 4-6 inches deep. I suspect they are more reactive as we seem to have more wind or any new snowfall. The most concerning layer to track moving forward will be the current snow surface, which has been recently buried by a few inches of recent snowfall. The snow surface will continue to facet the longer conditions stay relatively dry, and the more reactive conditions will be after the next significant snowfall event.
