- Wind Loading
Walked up to Kessler today, the views from the ridge gave a good indication of how much the wind had shaped the snow surface. East loading patterns formed sensitive wind slabs on most W facing aspects that I came into contact with near ridge lines. Further down from ridge lines and in more protected areas I found good snow on just about all aspects. It was quite easy to locate where the wind had done its work.
