Walked up to the apron of the y to have a look. Just as we got to the apron we watched a significant slide come down through the first choke. It was wall to wall and at least several inches deep. We did not get close enough to inspect. It ran for maybe 15 seconds. If someone was in that position they would have been in trouble. Snow at the base seems to be very wet and heavy. It's much warmer than this morning.
