Lots of cracking, collapses, and skier triggered storm slabs today. Some remote, some intentional. Slabs were between 12-24" thick and propagated up to 50'. The snowpack is talking to us and is close to its tipping point.
Snowpack
Lot's of collapses and cracking today from HE tests to AS. There are some interfaces of concern within the storm snow over the last 5 days. Areas lacking compaction are reactive to AS. Mostly seeing 12-20" crowns with moderate propagation. Only observed W aspects today BTL/NTL. ATL is still mostly scoured from W winds.
