Quick report

At the lake looking back toward the east facing ridge the coverage looked much better with most of the shorter alders covered. Driving up and down US 2 it seems there is a big difference in east aspects which are loaded at high elevations and west aspects which even at high elevations look thin in all the areas observed. This seemed to be a factor in all west aspects observed from Mt Stanton in the park all the way to Elk Mountain at Morias Pass. Better skiing to be had on east aspects along US 2 right now.

Snowpack

Only 8 inches or so at 6k feet.
