Quick report

Collapsing
isolated

Rain crust up to ~6000ft. Felt frequent collapsing while skinning around 5000ft, SE aspect, under trees. A firm stomp collapsed a second layer. Observed recent crowns in >45° terrain, SE aspect around 6400. Pit Dug at 6400ft, N aspect. 155cm snow depth. Surface hoar on top. Collapsed with easy force on first faceted layer ~15cm down and collapsed again another ~15cm down on second layer with medium force. No propagation in ECT. One SW aspect with a hard but breakable wind crust provided stable riding.
