Tour tracklog and non-avy obs posted at: https://www.strava.com/activities/11190543131 The highest elevations were: - Monroe summit ridgeline 5344’ SE - Airplane Bowl 5478’ S at first, then SW - Monroe Brook 4626’ NW Only one out of three of these were within the compass rose for today’s wind slab avy problem. But I found that the first few hundred vertical of skiing in all three locations showed recent deposited snow. I had been worried about the possibility of fresh snow that turns all sticky in the spring, or potentially wind slab with stability concerns, but instead this was already nice smooth spring snow, without any apparent stability problems. (Plenty of other problems though with this tour, as written up at the Strava activity!)
