Skied into the bowl around 3pm to high winds and significant snow transport. TRT above Hermit lake was largely obscured due to drifting snow and there was essentially zero visibility into the ravine from a little lookers left of left gully until just lookers left of Lobster Claw. Given the poor visibility, high winds, and indications of poor stability, I transitioned just past the emergency cache. On the more wind sheltered sections of the hiking trail shooting cracks were prevalent, often extending 15+ feet or to the end of the drift. Skiing out of the bowl skirting the open water was a mix of solid ice crust and newly drifted snow. The new snow deposits were on excess of 2 feet thick in places. Little headwall itself was not getting as much loading as the slopes around it.
