Snowpack

No cracking, collapsing, or avalanches observed. There is surface hoar (3-6mm) in many areas with near-surface facets on northern aspects. Thin sun crusts on southerly aspects. ECTX in our one pit just to the north of the Wilderness Boundary at the ridgeline of Tepee Basin (north aspect, 9300' elevation, HS 185cm).

Lower faces in Tepee Basin have many tracks. People have mostly stayed in the upper bowls of Skyline Ridge and White Peak on the Tepee Basin side. Not the case on the south face of Skyline from the Cabin Creek side - there are many big high marks. We know that tracks do not equal stability, but so far, steep slopes are passing the test.
