Quick report
Travelled into Beehive Basin today with no specific objectives but to observe changing conditions in the backcountry. Our party observed a skier trigger a D1, wet loose avalanche, on an east facing aspect. Snow was soft on east facing aspects until around 11:30. No cracking was observed during this time. Our party decided to ski a North facing slope that featured little to no instability issues. Natural wet loose slides were observed all over the back of the basin on E/SE/S/SW/W aspects.
