Quick report

Traveled on mid to upper and elevation slopes and stayed on mostly North West aspects. Topped out at about 7000 ft. There was about 6 inches of new snow on top of the old crust up to 6400ft. Above that the snow surface became consolidated and supportable showing signs of wind effect. We experienced partly cloudy conditions and light winds throughout the day. We did not experience instability on our route but did notice a large natural slab avalanche on a neighboring south east slope.
