Hiked to the beaver ponds on Broads Fork. The trail which had been completely snow covered from the bridge up two weeks before is now totally melted out. Attesting to the early season heat of late.
There was a new likely glide avalanche visible on Bonkers. It likely ran in this past weekends spike in temps. It didn't appear to run its full path but was nevertheless substantial. As the pictures attest, there was some large chunks of snow/ice visible especially mid path
Where I had easily snow shoed earlier this month in up to 4 feet of snow was either bare ground or melting fast.
