I was standing on top of Hatch Peak today and dropped my glove, it slid down the west face and I skied down to grab it. I got the glove and a hard slab cracked under me and carried me down a short ways, luckily it stopped before the rocks. As I was getting back up to the top another section broke apart. The forecast for today was right on, high elevation west facing slopes are suspect.
