Quick report

IM Snotel reported 10 inches of new snow since 5am on the 28th. No obvious signs of instability were observed. One photo captured shows a small slide, it was the only avi we saw out there today. We did not investigate the slide but our pit location is at the same elevation ban and similar aspect. We dug a quick pit and did a CT test at the coordinates provided in this observation. Pit details: Elevation 3750 ft, Aspect ENE, Total depth was 60cm, LOC located at 35cm from the ground at a density change 4F-1F, CT 22Q2RP. Pencil/knife hard basal layer may cause problems in future. We stuck to sheltered 30ish degree slopes and found soft turns and flat light. It feels good to ski powder!
