Haffner Creek Ice

Haffner Creek Ice Reached Marble Creek trailhead at 0950, and it was -5 degrees Celsius. The trail broke into Haffner Creek despite recent snowfall. There were approximately six groups today and six available ice flows, which worked well. Some flows were prone to dinner platting off and had significant air pockets, but we made it work. Wind was either non-existent or very light, with scattered clouds overhead. Despite the avalanche bulletin, no wind transport was observed on surrounding peaks, and there were no overt signs of instability. Back at the parking lot for 1600, and was -2 degrees celcius.
