Slab avalanches and signs of instability

AST 2 Field day in Montana Trees - we observed recent natural avalanche activity sz 1-2 storm slabs 30cms. Test profile result at 2000m in lightly wind exposed treeline opening SW asp.: ECTP 9 down 30cms. Windloading in open areas and shooting cracks up to 1m from ski tips down 40-50cms. Good skiing in dense forest where no wind affect.
